1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans 1 (15 oz.) can black eyed peas or beans 1 (15 oz.) can lima beans 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans 2 (31 oz.) cans pork & beans 2 lbs. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. oil 2 c. catsup 1 c. burgundy wine 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. dry mustard Drain beans, except pork and beans and combine. Brown the ground beef, onion and green pepper in oil. Add to beans. Mix in catsup, wine, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Place in 3 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or longer. Serves 14 to 16. |
