APACHE FRY BREAD 
1 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients; stir into a dough. Roll out about 1/2 inch thick and cut into squares. Fry in deep fat at least 2 inches deep, turning until brown on both sides. This may also be pinched off and patted from hand to hand until formed into rounds. Make about 10 small pieces. Serve with warm refried beans and sprinkle with cheese or green taco sauce.
