AUNT BERTIE'S FRIED CORN BREAD 
1 cup fine cornmeal
1/3 cup self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking powder (I use Calumet)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup sweet milk

Finish with water to make a soft batter. Heat pan with oil to medium heat. Drop by tablespoon, let brown and turn over to brown other side.
