CARAMEL FILLING (FOR PECAN LOGS) 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 c. butter

Mix all ingredients except vanilla and cook until forms a firm ball in cold water. Add vanilla. While mixture still warm, dip cold logs in and roll in pecans.
