KENTUCKY POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained
4 eggs, separated
1 c. oil
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix all ingredients together except egg whites and mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; add last. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes in a tube pan.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients excepts nuts and boil 5 minutes; add nuts and beat until cooled.
