SCONES 
1/2 c. oil
4 c. water, at 110 degrees
8 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. yeast
2 tbsp. salt
8 c. flour

Place water in large bowl, add yeast and sugar. Stir in 4 cups flour, oil, and salt. Stir well. Add remaining flour to form soft, pliant dough. Knead 5 minutes. Cover, let rise. Punch down and rise again. Deep fat fry.
