BROCCOLI AND ORANGE SALAD 
DRESSING:

1 egg plus 1 yolk
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. mayonnaise

Combine water and vinegar. Whisk with egg. Cook until thickened. Add butter and mayonnaise.

SALAD:

4 c. broccoli
1 can drained oranges
1/2 c. yellow raisins
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 med. red onion, sliced
1/2 c. slivered almonds
6 slices crisp bacon

Combine salad and dressing just before serving.
