APPLE CRISP 
4 c. sliced, pared baking apples
2/3 to 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. oats
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/3 c. butter, softened

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease square pan, 8x8x2 inches.

Arrange apples in pan. Mix remaining ingredients with fork; sprinkle over apples. Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes. 6 servings.
