SPEEDY APPLE CRISP 
5 to 6 c. peeled, sliced cooking apples
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon

Spread apples in a 9x9 inch baking pan. Cut butter into remaining ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm. Yield: 6-8 servings.

Microwave Directions: Assemble as above using a glass baking pan. Microwave on HIGH uncovered 7-10 minutes or until apples are tender. Turn pan 1/4 turn after 4 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
