JADE GREEN GINGERED BROCCOLI 
Beautiful, tasty, nutritious - this broccoli recipe is a winner!

6 c. sliced trimmed broccoli pieces
1/3 c. chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced fine
1 tsp. grated peeled fresh gingerroot
3 tbsp. reduce-sodium (light) soy sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water

Place broccoli in large pan of boiling water. Return to boil and cook for 2 minutes; drain and set aside. Heat chicken broth in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger; stir for 1 minute. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Combine cornstarch and cold water; add to skillet. Cook and stir until sauce thickens. Stir in broccoli. 1 serving: 3/4 cup. Food Exchange per serving: 2 Vegetables.
