CHEESY POTATOES 
3 med. potatoes, pared, sliced as French fries
1/2 c. chopped onions
Salt and pepper
butter
1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Place enough foil in bottom of 9x9x2 inch baking dish to completely cover and wrap potatoes after in dish. Place a layer of potatoes on top of foil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and 2 tablespoons onions.

Slice small pats of butter and place five on potatoes. Repeat potatoes and other ingredients until all have been used. Cover potatoes with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Just before serving sprinkle potatoes with cheese. Cover with foil again to let cheese melt.
