ADAM'S APPLE 
1 can apple pie filling
Cinnamon
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter, melted
Ice cream or whipped cream

Empty apple filling into 8 or 9 inch square pan and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste. Beat egg slightly and add vanilla. In another bowl, mix next 3 ingredients, add egg and mix until crumbly. Distribute evenly over apple filling. Pour butter over top and bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream. Serve cold with whipped cream.
