MEAT AND POTATO LOAF 
4 lg. potatoes, sliced and parboiled
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. raw oats
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Place potatoes in bottom of casserole dish. Mix meat, oats, milk, onion, salt and pepper, and 1/3 of soup. Spread mixture over potatoes. Mix remaining soup with equal amount of water and pour over meat mixture. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and cook the last 15 minutes of the hour.
