PEANUT CRISP BARS | |
1/2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1 c. peanut butter 2 c. crisp rice cereal In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Blend in peanut butter, stir in cereal. Pat evenly in 8 x 8 inch pan. FROSTING: 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. packed brown sugar 1 tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar In small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar, remove from heat. Add milk and vanilla. Stir in powdered sugar, beat smooth. Spread over cereal mixture. Chill. Cut in small bars. |
