CHOCOLATE MINT BARS 
LAYER 1:
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter, melted
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt

LAYER 2:
1 stick soft butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1 or 2 drops green food coloring

LAYER 3:
1 stick butter
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips

LAYER 1: Mix all of the above ingredients for layer 1. Pour into a greased 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool thoroughly or refrigerate. DO NOT USE SMALLER PAN.

LAYER 2: Mix all of the ingredients for layer 2 until creamy. Spread over the first layer and refrigerate until hard.

LAYER 3: Melt these layer 3 ingredients together. Spread over the top layer. Refrigerate. Cut into small pieces. (10 x 15 inch pan) About 24 bars.
