ONION CHEESE PIE 
2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
1 c. sliced onions
2 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
2 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Saute onion in butter; beat eggs. Add milk, salt, pepper, basil and onions. Divide cheese in half, spread evenly in crusts. Pour mixture over cheese.

Bake in 400 degree oven approximately 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
