OREO CAKE 
1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
2 sticks butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
2/3 c. chocolate chips
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 lg. Cool Whip

Crush Oreo cookies, reserving 1/2 cup for topping. Mix cookies with 1 stick melted butter. Spread in a 9x15 pan and freeze. Mix powdered sugar, chocolate chips, 1 stick butter, and 1 can evaporated milk; bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.

Take off heat and cool completely. Spread softened ice cream over frozen mixture. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Freeze again. Pour chocolate chips mixture over frozen ice cream and uts; freeze again.

Spread Cool Whip over chocolate chips mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs; freeze.
