WHOLESOME BREAD | |
2 pkg. yeast 8 c. water 1 1/3 c. bulgur (crushed in blender) or cracked wheat flour 1 1/3 c. rye flour 1 1/3 c. graham flour 1 1/3 c. whole wheat flour 2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. Canola oil About 15 c. white flour 1/4 c. molasses Dissolve yeast in 1 cup of the water (lukewarm). Add all ingredients except white flour. Mix well. Add white flour gradually until not sticky. Knead about 10 minutes. Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down. Let rise again. Shape into loaves and put into greased loaf pans. Let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 17 minutes, switch racks, bake another 13 minutes. Makes 5-6 loaves. |
