SAUTEED STRAWBERRIES 
Flambed desserts make very dramatic fare. Here, strawberries are sweetened the brandy ignited and the flaming sauce is then poured hot over scoops of vanilla ice cream.

1/2 c. butter
1 qt. strawberries, cut into halves
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. orange, flavored liqueur
2 tbsp. brandy
Vanilla ice cream

Heat butter in 10 inch skillet over medium heat until melted. Stir in strawberries. Cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in sugar, liqueur and lime peel. Cook and stir 1 minute. Heat brandy in long handled saucepan until warm. Ignite and pour over strawberries. Serve hot over ice cream.
