ALTHEA'S CHICKEN 
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (8 oz.) bottle Russian dressing
8 oz. apricot jam or preserves
4 chicken breasts, halved

Mix first 3 ingredients together. Coat chicken pieces thoroughly with the mixture. Let stand 1 hour. Place pieces skin side up, close together, in 1 layer in shallow baking pan. DO NOT COVER. Bake approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees until done. Goes well with rice or noodle pudding and serves 4-6 people.
