HOT CHICKEN SALAD WITH SOUR
CREAM
 
4 whole chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
1 1/2 c. celery, diced fine
3 hard boiled eggs sliced
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. onion, diced
1 can water chestnuts (sm.), drained and diced
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 can onion rings

Mix together all the above ingredients except Cheddar cheese and onion rings. Place mixed ingredients in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch casserole baking pan or dish and top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with onion rings on top and bake 15 minutes more. Let set 10 minutes before serving - this dish is excellent for parties.
