TOFFEE APPLE PIE 
5 c. peeled thinly sliced apples (about 6 med.)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
1 (2 oz.) toffee candy, chopped

Topping:
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1 (2 oz.) toffee bar, chopped

Prepare pie crust for filled one crust pie using 9 inch pie pan. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl combine all filling ingredients; blend well spoon into pie crust.

In small bowl combine flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Blend well with fork; cut in 3 tablespoons butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in pecans and chopped candy. Sprinkle topping over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes until apples are tender and crust is brown.
