CREOLE-STYLE GREEN BEANS 
6 slices diced bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
1 can cut and drained green beans

Cook bacon until crisp; remove from skillet. Add onion and green pepper to 3 tablespoons bacon drippings. Cook until tender. Blend in flour, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and mustard. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add beans. Top with bacon. Makes 6-8 servings.
