IRON SKILLET CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 rounded tbsp. flour
2 rounded tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa together. Beat egg yolks, add to milk and blend. Add this a little at a time to sugar mixture in skillet. Cook over medium heat until it thickens. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue made with:

3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. sugar

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff glossy peaks form. Then add vanilla; put on top of pie filling, sealing edge of pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden. Cool at room temperature before cutting. Can serve warm.
