BARBECUED CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 chicken, cut up
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. shortening or butter
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. water

Roll chicken in the flour, salt and pepper. Fry in the fat until golden brown. Place in 3-quart casserole. Saute the onion and celery in the fat. Add the catsup, brown sugar, and water. Pour over chicken. Cover and bake for 1 hour or until done at 350 degrees.
