SLIMLINE STEAK STRIPS 
1 -2 lb. round steak cut 1" thick
1 env. au jus gravy mix
1 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Cut steak into 1/4" strips. Stir together contents of envelope of gravy mix, water, lemon juice, basil, garlic salt and onion powder. Pour over steak and let stand 1 hour or more, turning occasionally. Place steak strips in broiler pan, and broil 2 or 3 minutes on each side. Heat marinade to boiling and serve over steak strips. Serves 4 to 5.
