BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. bran
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. honey or molasses
2 tbsp. oil
1 egg, beaten

Stir together bran, flour, raisins, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside. Blend milk, molasses, oil and egg. Add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
