MOLASSES COOKIES 
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. dark molasses
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger

Cream together sugar and shortening, molasses and egg. Mix well. Sift in dry ingredients, stir. Dip fingers in sugar and pinch off dough, roll into 1 inch balls. Flatten on cookie sheet (greased). Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
