MAPLE PECAN PIE 
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, unbaked
3 eggs
8 oz. PURE maple syrup
1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. pecan halves or pieces

Bake pastry shell 8 minutes in a 425 degree oven. Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat eggs, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
