CRUNCHY BARS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. cream
1 c. light corn syrup
2 c. rice cereal
5 c. corn flakes
2 c. salted peanuts

Cook sugar, cream and syrup to soft ball stage (230 to 235 degrees). Remove from heat and pour at once over cereal and peanuts. Mix thoroughly. Pack into well buttered 9 x 12 inch pan. When cool cut into squares or bars. Very good.
