CRUNCHY COCONUT BARS 
1/3 c. shortening
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. self-rising flour
1 1/3 c. coconut

Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour and coconut, stirring after each addition. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. In glass pan, cook at 325 degrees. Cut in bars when cool.
