SAUSAGE GRAVY 
1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean Premium pork sausage with sage
3 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 cups milk
2 tbsp. butter
salt & pepper, to taste

Note: Original flavor Jimmy Dean pork sausage can be substituted -- just add 1/2 teaspoon ground sage.

Fry sausage in a large pan until lightly browned. Add flour, one tablespoon at a time, until all flour is incorporated well into sausage.

Add milk gradually, while whisking until thickened and bubbly. Add butter and stir for one minute. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot over homemade buttermilk biscuits.

Try adding chopped tomato before you add the flour. We call it tomato gravy. It is great !!
