HASH BROWNS 
1/2 stick butter
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. grated onion
1-2 lbs. cubed hash browns

Melt 1/2 stick butter in 9x13 inch pan. Cool slightly. Mix remaining ingredients in 9x13 inch pan; sprinkle crushed potato chips over top. Pour additional melted butter over top. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until golden brown.
