ROUND STEAK PARMESAN 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 egg beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 medium onion chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
2 c. water
1 1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese grated

Preheat oven to 350°F. Pound steak and cut into serving pieces, dip into egg and roll in mixture of bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. In a large skillet brown meat in vegetable oil. Remove meat and place in baking dish; sauté onion in skillet drippings. Stir in sugar, salt, pepper, tomato paste and water; boil for 5 minutes. Pour 2/3 of the sauce over steak; cover with mozzarella cheese. Cover with remaining sauce. Cover baking dish with foil; bake for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
