DORIS'S MEATBALLS | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1 1/4 c. water 1/2 c. catsup 1 tbsp. sweet pickle relish 1 tsp. prepared mustard Combine beef and 2 tablespoons onion soup mix. Shape into small balls. Brown in a skillet with one tablespoon butter. Pour off fat, add other ingredients, cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Uncover last 5 minutes to thicken sauce. A dry cooking wine can be used for part of the water. |
