MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. unpopped popcorn
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Pop corn and remove old maids. In microwave dish, melt butter, corn syrup and brown sugar. When melted, put in microwave 2 minutes on high. Take out and add soda and vanilla. Mix popcorn and caramel sauce in paper bag (grocery). Shake. Put bag in microwave for 2 minutes on high. Take out and shake. Put back in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on high. Take out and dump on cupboard. Break apart and cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
