WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1 cup shortening 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips Note: M&M'S®, Reese's Pieces, or any miniature candy or flavor of baking chips can be substituted for the chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix all ingredients together. Drop batter by spoonfuls or use a cookie scoop, onto cookie sheet (lightly greased/sprayed). Bake for 10-12 minutes. I made these cookies with white chocolate chips. I baked at 365°F for 12 minutes and they came out picture perfect and they taste great as well. I will try with them with M&M's the next time. They look so nice that they would be great to share with friends and family, or even for a bake sale.
