CRAZY CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. white vinegar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. water

Mix first 5 dry ingredients. Add remainder. Mix and put into 13 x 9 cake pan.

Bake 25 minutes at 350°F. This is a very dense cake and is wonderful with one of the chocolate frosting recipes. It is really good the next day after it sits.

Chocolate Frosting 1:

1 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
3 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and chocolate in heavy saucepan. Add rest of ingredients and mix with wooden spoon until of spreading consistency.

Chocolate Frosting 2:

1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. chocolate chips

Bring milk, sugar and shortening to boil in heavy pan. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until of spreading consistency.
