3 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. oil
2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water

Sift together in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Spread evenly. Make 3 wells in sifted ingredients. Put oil in one well, vinegar in another well and vanilla in third well. Pour water over all. Blend thoroughly with fork, but do not beat.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes in 350°F oven.

Brownie Chocolate Frosting:

3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Melt butter; add cocoa. Stir in milk, vanilla and sugar. If too dry, add more milk.
