MUSTARD PASTE PICKLES AND
DRESSING
 
1 cup flour
1 tbsp turmeric
6 tbsp dry mustard
cold vinegar
2 cups sugar
cucumbers
green tomatoes
onion
cauliflower

Cut up vegetables and soak in salt water overnight. Cook in salt water and drain. Do not overcook. Set aside.

Mix dry mustard, flour, turmeric and enough cold vinegar to make a smooth paste. Then add sugar. Add enough vinegar to make 2 quarts in all. Boil this mixture until it thickens, stirring at all times. Add vegetables to paste.
