POPPY SEED FRENCH BREAD 
1 loaf French bread
1 stick butter
2 tbsp grated onion
1 tsp prepared mustard
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp poppy seeds
Swiss cheese sliced

Cut bread in 1 inch slices, not quite through the bottom. Mix all ingredients except Swiss cheese and spread mixture between each slice of bread. Place slice of cheese between each slice of bread. Spread top with any leftover butter mixture. Fold foil around bread leaving open at the top. Heat in 350°F oven for 25-30 minutes.

Serves 10-12.
