HERBED FRENCH BREAD | |
1 (1 lb.) loaf French bread 1/2 c. butter, softened 1/4 c. minced fresh parsley or dried 1/4 c. minced chives Cut bread into 1-inch slices. In a small bowl, combine the butter, parsley and chives. Spread over one side of each slice of bread. Place buttered side up on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4-inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 10 servings. |
