FRENCH BREAD PUDDING 
10 c. lightly packed 1" French bread cubes (about 1 loaf)
1 qt. milk
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. raisins (best with Golden)

In large bowl, mix bread with milk; set aside 10 minutes. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg. Stir in raisins. Turn into buttered 9x13 inch pan. Set in larger pan of water (1 inch). Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes until set. Serve warm with favorite topping or sauce. Delicious!
