1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. plain flour
Dash of salt

Grease cookie sheet. Cream together in mixer the butter, butter, sugar and egg. Add vanilla and salt. Gradually mix in flour (sift before you measure). Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes. You can tell when they are done by the browning around the edge.
