GOLDEN ELBO-RONI CASSEROLE 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. macaroni
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/3 c. chopped green onion
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. melted butter

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Brown ground beef in butter. Stir in tomato sauce. Remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, onion and green pepper.

Spread 1/2 of the macaroni in buttered casserole; cover with cheese mixture and add remaining macaroni. Pour melted butter over top. Pour hamburger sauce mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until hot through.
