2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour and sugar. Boil water, cocoa, and butter for 1 minute. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Beat on high speed for 1 minute. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Pour onto a large greased cookie sheet with sides. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Frost cake while still hot.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil butter, cocoa, and milk for 1 minute. Mix with powdered sugar, nuts, and vanilla. Spread over cake.
