FRUIT COBBLER 
Fruit (peaches, cherries, apples, rhubarb)
Butter
1 1/2 c. sugar

BATTER:

1 egg
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Grease bottom of 9x12 pan; cover with fruit. Dot fruit with butter and pour 1 1/2 cups sugar over fruit. Mix batter and pour over fruit. Bake 45 minutes or until crust browns in 380 degree oven.
