MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
BOTTOM LAYER:

2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream together butter, sugar, and cocoa. Add eggs, vanilla and cake flour. Mix well, then add walnuts. Put in greased 9"x12" pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

SECOND LAYER: While hot spread with 7 ounce jar marshmallow creme.

THIRD LAYER:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Blend together and add 3/4 cup chopped walnuts and spread over cooled cake. Refrigerate overnight before serving. Can be made the day before.
