MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE AND
FROSTING
 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 to 3 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. coconut (4 oz. or more)
1 1/2 c. nuts
1 lg jar marshmallow creme

FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1/3 c. canned milk

Cream sugar, powdered cocoa and butter, or butter. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add the flour, coconut and nuts. Beat well and bake in 9 x 13 inch pan, which has been sprayed with Baker's secret. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Do not overbake. When done and still hot, spread top with large jar marshmallow creme, when cool, top with frosting.
