DELUXE PECAN PIE | |
Unbaked 9-inch pie shell 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. dark corn syrup 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 c. coarsely broken pecans (if salted nuts are used, omit salt) Start heating oven to 400 degrees. Mix eggs with syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar, butter; add pecans; pour into shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool. Serve cut into small wedges; with whipped cream or small bunches of grapes. |
